You can cast your vote safely and conveniently. During the Covid-19 crisis, the state of Arkansas is offering every voter the option to vote right from your home.

Did you know you don’t have to wait until Nov. 3rd to vote? Voting from Home is a safe, reliable, and responsible way to cast your ballot during the pandemic. And the best part is how easy it is!

Important steps.

  • Select “unavoidably absent” on election day in the first section
  • Mark that you live in the county where you are registered in the second section.
  • Check the 3rd box in the 3rd section to get a ballot for the Nov. 3rd election
  • In the fourth section, we recommend requesting your ballot by mail
  • Mail or email your absentee ballot application to your County Clerk’s office as soon as possible! Your County Clerk’s mailing and email address can be found below


In September, your County Clerk will mail or email your absentee ballot to the address you provided. Keep an eye out for your ballot.

2. Return your completed ballot and make sure to:

  • Submit your ballot as soon as possible.
  • If you submit your ballot by mail, it must arrive at your County Clerk’s office (contact info found HERE by 7:30pm on Election Day, Nov. 3rd. If you mail your ballot, you need two first class stamps.
  • If you want to submit your absentee ballot in person, you must do so by the end of the work day on Nov 2nd

Avoid crowds. Avoid long lines. Vote Early starting October 19.

Here's how

Every Arkansas county has at least one early voting site. Your county clerk’s office will host Early Voting, but other Early Voting sites may be available to you, too.

Early Voting is a great way to avoid crowds and long wait times. You can usually get in and out in less than 10 minutes, so take advantage of the opportunity over your lunch break or in-between shifts.

  2. Be sure to take a valid Photo ID with you to vote
  3. Make a plan to Vote Early and stick with it!

If Voting from home or Voting Early are not a good fit for you, make a plan to vote on Election Day.

Election day is Tuesday, November 3rd. The polls are open from 7:3 0am until 7:30 pm, and if you’re in line before 7:30 pm, they have to let you vote.

Here’s how to vote on Election Day: 

  1. Find where you can vote here.
  2. Be sure to take a valid Photo ID with you to vote
  3. Make a plan to vote and stick with it!
