A: Here’s How to check if you’re registered:
- If you have recently moved to Arkansas, check your voter registration status HERE.
- If you are temporarily out of state and wish to vote, fill out an absentee ballot application HERE.
- If you were convicted of a crime and are unsure of your voting status, read about your voting rights in the state of Arkansas HERE.

I need to print my absentee ballot application and/or photocopy my ID but I don’t have access to a printer/scanner. What should I do?
A: The website voteriders.org will provide you with free photocopies of either your absentee ballot application or free photocopies of your valid ID. Learn more here.

Do I have to show ID to vote?
A: Yes, in Arkansas, you must provide a valid ID when you vote in person or when you’re newly registered and voting for the first time by mail. (If voting by mail, you may provide a photocopy of your Valid ID.)
What if the address on my ID is different from the address on my voter registration card?
A: It’s okay if your addresses do not match. Your name must be the same.
What is absentee voting? Is this the same thing as Voting from Home or voting by mail?
A: Absentee voting is the same thing as Voting from Home or voting by mail. Absentee Voting means you will be absent during in-person voting. If you have concern over covid-19, this is a valid reason to Vote from Home via absentee ballot.

I applied to receive an absentee ballot but I no longer want to vote from home by mail. What should I do?
A: If you no longer plan on voting absentee but have already filled out an application, simply call your county clerk’s office and ask that they remove you from their absentee list.
If I’m Voting from Home because of covid-19, which box do I check on my absentee ballot?
A: If you’re voting from home because of COVID concerns, check the very first box: I will be unavoidably absent from my polling site on Election Day
On the absentee ballot, what is a “designated bearer”?
A: A designated bearer is the one person who is authorized to pick up your absentee ballot and deliver it back to the Clerk for you. This person has to sign your absentee ballot application, too.
